Advocacy Talks: Authors Meet & Greet

Oct 6, 2021
6pm

Online

We hope you can join us for what will be an incredible presentation from two amazing mothers and their memoirs about perseverance and how they have navigated their son’s diagnoses, education and adult living.

Authors Nicole Hendrick Donovan and J.M. Crawford will present Choices and the Power of Possibility, where they will share from their inspirational memoirs and answer questions at the end, along with a giveaway of signed copies of their books!

Nicole Donovan’s memoir, A LIFE SUSPENDED: A Mother and Son’s Story of Autism, Extinction Bursts, and Living a Resilient Life, was recently endorsed by author and autism advocate, Temple Grandin. After reading it, Grandin stated that it “is a guide that will help mothers of children with autism, or a severe disability, navigate their complex emotions.”

J.M. Crawford’s book, CHOICES, is a memoir filled with courage, as a single mother navigates uncharted waters to secure residential placement for her adult autistic son.
