Becky’s essential at work

With your support, Becky continues to work during the COVID-19 crisis.

Becky takes her job at Weis Markets very seriously. “I keep things organized in the frozen food and dairy sections,” she says. “I like to make the shelves look nice for customers.”

Since the crisis hit, there have been changes, Becky said, but it’s nothing she can’t handle.

“You have to be careful,” Becky said. “I wear a mask and wear gloves.”

Because of you, CPARC is able to help folks like Becky.

“We really feel fortunate that Becky is at the place she is,” says her father, Brian. “It’s all because of CPARC. Becky being able to work on her own is a statement to the team at CIT.”

While other parts of her life like training for the Special Olympics and going to camp, may be affected right now, she is excited that she is continuing to work and stay busy at a place that is a “natural fit” for her.

“I’m…just happy,” Becky said, smiling.
