Kate embraces all of life’s adventures and easily makes friends along the way. She does this while making boxes at the Center for Industrial Training…when she sings karaoke with staff…and as she walks around her neighborhood.

Kate is especially fond of animals…no matter what species! At a circus in 2019, Kate held a ball python. It totally made her day!

“I loved him,” Kate says, excitedly. “I wanted to bring him home.”

Some limitations make it difficult to have her own pet like a dog or cat. So Kate actively seeks out animals in her day-to-day activities.

She enjoys caring for animals as part of her volunteer activities. And, Kate loves to visit pet stores. She is currently raising butterflies, which she hopes to release soon.

Whether you’re meeting her for the first time or not, Kate always asks about your fur-babies.
