Educational Advocacy

Advocates help families with children who are eligible or suspected to be eligible for special education services.

Special Education Advocates:

• Help ensure that the child  receives a Free and Appropriate Education (FAPE).
• Assist families in understanding special education process and laws.
• Clarify Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and can attend IEP meetings.
• Provide seminars on school-aged education-related topics.
